Kisschasy Announces Australian Tour for May 2023

Aussie Alt-Rockers Kisschasy announces nine-date national headlining tour for May 2023.

In case you missed the Kisschasy reunion at Good Things Festival last weekend, then you are in for a treat as the band has recently announced that they are making a comeback in May 2023 with a nine-date headlining tour.

Kicking off in Brisbane on the 4th May, hitting up Adelaide and Perth shortly after, and following up with Canberra on the 10th May before making their way up and down the east coast, and ending the tour on their home soil of Melbourne and Torquay on the 18th and 19th of May.

The band announced that they will be playing a variety of songs off of their extensive 13-year-long catalogue, with pre-sale tickets being released on Thursday 8th December at 10am (AEST), which you can register early access here, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 13th December at 10am (AEST).

With heavy hearts the alt-rock quartet announced their disbandment in 2015, stating that since their original formation in 2002, they were unfortunately not on the same page musically anymore. To say that fans were left devastated would be an understatement. However, after seven years of silence they announced their return, gracing the stages across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane Good Things Festival dates, playing their album United Paper People in full.

Darren Cordeaux spoke about their extended reunion in a statement: “We’re really excited to breathe new life into these songs that we remain very proud of. It’s humbling that our fan base endures almost a decade after we hung up our instruments and it’s reminded us that we created something very special together; a body of work that has managed to stand the test of time. This tour is for those who still hold our songs dear and have been waiting since we closed that curtain in 2015. We can’t wait to see you again.”
