Ahead of a his maiden voyage to Australian shores, the incredible Leon Bridges has announced he will be playing to packed out rooms when he arrives here in January; and he’s bringing some special guests along with him for the ride.
Bridges is a master of the modern classic – blending classic soul, blues and gospel in a incredibly charming package. He will be playing to a full room in Sydney’s Metro Theatre on January 3rd, as well as Melbourne’s Corner Hotel and 170 Russell on 6th and 7th January respectively.
Local melody maker Ainslie Wills will join Bridges at all three shows, playing tracks from her latest EP On The Gold. Wills received Australian Music Prize and Melbourne Music Prize nominations back in 2013 for her You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine, and has since featured on the hit #1 Dads single So Soldier.
