Leonardo DiCaprio saved a dude who fell off a cruise ship in the Caribbean

On December 30th, Leonardo DiCaprio, his girlfriend, and some friends were on a luxury boat off the coast of St. Barts. While on the trip, the group received a distress call from a 24-year-old Club Med cruise crew member known only as ‘Victor’, who had fallen overboard near St. Martin after a night of excessive drinking.

When DiCaprio heard the call, he agreed to redirect the boat towards the man, making his boat the only to respond to the signal.

Leonardo DiCaprio adds to the list of people he’s saved from the ocean, saving a man named Victor who fell overboard in the Caribbean.

A few hours later, the crew spotted the man near the island of Saba, where he had been treading water for 11 hours. Victor was “severely dehydrated” and Leo’s crew provided him water, food, and dry clothes before handing him back to the coastguards.

The Captain of DiCaprio’s ship says the man had a one-in-a-billion chance of surviving, especially considering that daylight was fading and a storm was coming in. So it really isn’t an exaggeration to say that Leonardo DiCaprio saved a man’s life.

First Rose, now Victor. What a damn hero. Leonardo DiCaprio is the new official guardian of the sea.
