New Wave icons New Order have released their first new music in five years, a track named Be A Rebel. Originally slated to drop at the same time as their now-postponed North American tour with Pet Shop Boys, the band have pushed ahead with the release, offering a heartfelt statement alongside it.
“In tough times we wanted to reach out with a new song,” vocalist Bernard Sumner described. “We can’t play live for a while, but music is still something we can all share together.”
