Mac DeMarco announces 2020 Australia/New Zealand tour

Here comes Mac DeMarco! Everybody’s favourite prince of indie rock has just confirmed an Australian and New Zealand tour, joined by local psych warlords POND and Japan’s favourite contemporary punks CHAI.

The tour will mark DeMarco’s first Australian dates since he dropped his fourth studio LP Here Comes The Cowboy, featuring singles such as Nobody and All Of Our Yesterdays.

Mac DeMarco is heading to Australia and New Zealand once more, inking a set of five massive shows featuring some stellar tour supports.

Known for his rowdy onstage antics and bringing some new and unexpected covers with him on every tour, a Mac DeMarco show is not something to be missed. Lately the man has been gracing some absolutely massive stages too, from Primavera Sound to Coachella and more.

In terms of tour supports, POND will be hitting every Australian show, with Fazerdaze subbing in for Auckland. CHAI will join Mac in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with self-described “snotty, snarky feminist punks” Cold Meat taking their place in Perth.

Check out the full run of dates below. Tickets will be available Thursday August 1st at 1pm local time.
