Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival is renowned for boasting a diverse line up of obscure talent and some of the country’s most virile young artists, both visual and musical, and 2016 is no exception.
Taking place on Saturday January 23rd at the Victorian College of the Arts and thhe Melbourne Arts Precinct, the lineup features the likes of Aussie legends Courtney Barnett and Dirty Three, plus British electro-pop icons Hot Chip, headlining the festivities.
Local talent will be represented by acts like Royal Headache, Harvey Sutherland and City Calm Down, while the lineup also boast some solid international performances from Viet Cong and Julio Bashmore.
Sugar Mountain also boasts an array of talented visual artists including Japanese audiovisual visionary NONOTAK and stage design from SIBLING.
