With Season 3 dropping in just under a month’s time, Nike have announced a Stranger Things-inspired clothing and shoe collection.
’80s nostalgia has gone through the roof since Stranger Things became a thing, with ‘music, gaming arcades, boardgames and clothing from the era making appearances in the hit TV series.
Nike have announced a Stranger Things inspired clothing collection, featuring bright colours and classic retro features.
The first release of the apparel is available from June 27 and is inspired by Hawkins High’s orange and green colours. Blazer, Cortes and Tailwind retro shoe-styles are included alongside hoodies and T-shirts with the classic gym-shirt branding.
The second release named ‘The OG Pack’ will be out on July 1st and will include patriotic colours of red, white and blue in commemoration of the 1985 Independence Day, a key event in the upcoming series.
Stranger Things season 3 premieres July 4th on Netflix alongside a brand new soundtrack featuring a collection of “classics” plus a yet-to-be-heard cast original. Previous soundtracks have included tunes such as The Clash’s Should I Stay Or Should I Go and Joy Division’s Atmosphere, while the season 3 trailer features Baba O’Riley by The Who and Home Sweet Home by Mötley Crüe.
