The Oasis reunion rumours just got juicier! It seems our favourite warring brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, might have a sneaky plan up their sleeves.
Picture this: 2025 rolls around, their solo gigs are done and dusted, and bam! Oasis rises from the ashes like a phoenix. But until then, the Gallaghers are having a jolly good time toying with the media and teasing fans. Cue the mischievous grins.
Noel, the master of ambiguity, has once again ignited the flame by telling Liam to “call him” during a recent UK appearance on Talk Sport. Remember his French interview back in March where he seemingly broke his silence on a reunion? Well, it seems Noel can’t resist adding fuel to the fire. Sneaky, sneaky.
“I’ve put it out there,” Noel slyly remarked when asked about reuniting with Liam. “He should give me a ring because he keeps going on about it. You’d think by now he’d have a plan, right? If he’s got a plan… well, he doesn’t have the guts to talk to me. So, he should send his people, his agent, to talk to my people. Then we can have a proper chat. Until then, he’s toying with our dear fans, and that’s just not cricket.”
But here’s the million-dollar question: does Noel actually want to reunite with his brother and bring back the glory days of Oasis? Noel also shared some insight into why Liam might be tempted to join forces once again. “Every day, I hear our tunes on the radio or get asked about a reunion,” Noel confessed. “There are young lads out there who were mere infants when we split, and our music has become their lifeblood.
They discovered it through their older siblings and friends. It’s mind-blowing. It makes me realise we created something timeless and extraordinary without even realising it. Performing those Oasis songs is a whole different ballgame. It’s like watching the mighty McCartney—his new stuff is cool, but when he delivers the classics, it’s pure magic.”
