PREMIERE: Alcophonics are here to make you dance on Everybody Loves The Disco

Sydney musicians Jack Egan and Ryan Whitty were first brought together two years ago, while working on a hip-hop project for a friend. Since then, they’ve spent their nights spinning records and sinking beers, all while refining their sound into something completely their own. So, today it’s our pleasure to Sydney’s new favourite dance duo, Alcophonics.

With the release of their debut single Everybody Loves The Disco, the two-piece have immediately established themselves as purveyors of groove-laden sonic gems.

On their deeply infectious debut single Everybody Loves The Disco, Alcophonics immediately establish themselves as Sydney’s new favourite dance duo.

Throughout the new track’s punchy three-minute duration, Egan and Whitty glide through infectious beats, sampled vocal hooks, Chic-style guitars, and a truly irresistible bass line to craft a track that will seep into your bones and force your body to move.

These still may be early days for this Sydney duo, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes courtesy of Alcophonics.

Everybody Loves The Disco is available now through boutique Aussie label Feltdogs, and can be streamed through all major streaming platforms. Do yourself a favour and listen above.
