Stretch feels like a steamy night in with your lover. Like sharing a glass of champagne with your soulmate atop a set of satin sheets on a warm October evening. Candles a’light, curtains blowin’ in the spring breeze. The new track is a glittery melting pot of jazz, dance, funk, pop, hip-hop, and disco—the result of this delicious concoction is a deeply infectious single.
“Stretch, get down.” Good luck getting that hook out of your head.
Clocking in at nearly seven minutes, the song is a sprawling slice of music that navigates myriad sonic directions—it never sits in one place for too long. This, however, is its most endearing quality. One moment you’ll be floating through hallucinatory psychedelia, and the next you’ll be locked into a soulful groove.
