PREMIERE: Step into the surreal, cinematic glory of PLEASURES’ new video The Thrill Of Never Looking Back

It was last year, with the release of their second album Body Pop, that we were first introduced to the surreal cosmic sounds of South Florida four-piece PLEASURES. Their music is like something from another world. It refuses to be categorised by genre, and it flows with a freedom seldom found in modern music.

Now, the band have dropped a new video for Body Pop‘s penultimate track, The Thrill Of Never Looking Back. Let us tell you, this thing is absolute insanity. It’s our pleasure to be premiering it for you today (pun very much intended).

On their epic new video for The Thrill Of Never Looking Back, South Florida quartet PLEASURES deliver a slice of dystopian, cinematic brilliance.

The new video is like a post-apocalyptic hallucination. Flaunting some incredible videography and an engaging overarching story, this clip will leave you feeling completely mesmerised. The video sees a team, once united, fighting on opposite sides. In its final moments, following a few minutes of complete insanity, the video sees the team resolve their conflict.

The track itself is a seven-minute slow-burner that will nest itself in the depths of your brain. As the band weave together elements of pop, electronica, psych, and rock, they craft a sound that’s unlike anything else you’ve heard before.

This is the latest in a string of great releases from PLEASURES, and judging by everything we’ve seen and heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality material.

For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new video for The Thrill Of Never Looking Back above.
