Just a few months back Sydney label legends Rice Is Nice released a mixtape showcasing some of the best female talent ruling Australian music right now. To celebrate, Rice Is Nice are throwing a massive party as a part of the gargantuan Melbourne Music Week celebration taking place in November.
Taking place at Max Watt’s House of Music for the Live Music Safari, Rice Is Nice have put together a wonderful bill of artists featured on their mixtape including Terrible Truths, Miss Destiny, Empat Lima and Major Leagues. All proceeds will be going to the YWCA. Things kick off at 7pm and its all free. Max Watt’s House of Music is the old Hifi Bar, 125 Swanson Street.
You can get the Rice Is Nice Mixtape Volume 2 here. It features all of the bands playing their mixtape party, plus a bunch of other killer Aussie bands like Bloods, Le Pie, Julia Why and Totally Mild.
