Melbourne’s latest pop sensation MAXON is turning heads wherever she goes.
Bringing in an honest, raw style of friendly pop, she finally dropped her long-awaited and all-important debut EP in April. Titled NEW WORLD, the six track record challenges the bigger themes of love, strength and sass in a style that is unmistakably hers.
It’s been a huge year for MAXON, who’s been hunkered down to develop a live show, and her real character. Catch your first glimpse as she officially launches her debut EP NEW WORLD.
Drawing inspiration from the queens of powerful, vocal pop like Sia, Kimbra and Adele, there’s no doubt MAXON brings a similar strength to her own tunes so far. She was a well faring contestant on The Voice earlier in the year, after all.
Joining her on the big launch night will be fellow Melbourne songstresses ESSIE and Eilish Gilligan, warming the crowd’s bones with their indie-leaning pop vibes.
