Sighclone are back with their blistering new single Concrete

With a three-track EP already under their belts, Adelaide-based three-piece Sighclone have spent the past couple of year developing a captivating and hard-hitting sound for themselves. Their music is simultaneously brutal and emotionally raw; it’ll smack you in the ears and the heart.

Now, with the release of their latest single Concrete, the band continue to build themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Aussie rock music.

Adelaide-based three-piece Sighclone have returned, and they’ve brought with them an epic, hard-hitting new single in the form of Concrete.

Throughout the track’s duration, Sighclone belt through a blistering concoction of alternative rock and punk to deliver a sound uniquely their own. With crunching guitars, thunderous drums, and droning vocal melodies, Concrete is an explosion of vitriolic noise from start to finish.

Concrete explores how society pressures young people into having their “life sorted out” from an early age, and how this can negatively impact their mental health and relationships. The track sees the band position themselves in a place that’s both powerful and vulnerable, as they navigate some weighty issues.

These are still relatively early days for Sighclone, but judging by what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new single above.
