Stand Atlantic release fiery new track ‘kill[her]’

Stand Atlantic have released their first track of 2023, kill[her], to remind us that we can break free from self-sabotage.

Sydney’s punk-rock outfit Stand Atlantic are back with a fierce new single to kick off 2023, kill[her]. Featuring melancholic and angsty lyrics, and a music video that follows vocalist Bonnie around in her attempt to escape her self-destructive behaviours, it is a track that digs deep.

With kill[her] being a track that was written in a small hotel room in Los Angeles, Bonnie opens up about the meaning of the track, stating “Self-sabotage is a bitch. Self-doubt kills and denying good and genuine parts of yourself because you’ve been conditioned to think they’re not good enough is a form of murder.”

She continues “It’s a reminder to myself not to give in to that shit. Personal growth is important but don’t deny who you are. Sometimes I find myself thinking back to who I used to be and missing that person.”
