The discussion will be centered around a panel of fantastic, talented women, who will be talking about issues regarding the challenges women face in the Aussie music industry, and the future of the industry.

The panel will include Clare Bowditchas moderator; LISTEN co-founder and acclaimed musician Evelyn Morris; staff writer for Rookie and senior editor at The Good Copy, Brodie Lancaster; Melbourne musician and respected venue booker, Emily Ulman; music journalist and author of Cherry Bomb, Jenny Valentish; and Helen Marcou of SLAM and co-owner of Bakehouse Studios.

Of course, there will also be some killer performances from Whiskey Houston before the panel, then a special performance from Totally Mild afterwards.

Sounds like a pretty awesome night. It will take place Wednesday July 1st at The Toff in Melbourne. Tickets are 10 bucks from Moshtix, or 15 at the door.
