Studio Ghibli floods Spotify with 693 of their soundtracks

Studio Ghibli fans far and wide can now open their favourite music streaming apps and listen to the over 600 tracks from the famous movies.

The studio have released 38 albums across the board, totalling 693 songs, available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and YouTube Music. This is enough to make any anime fan squeal, knowing they can enjoy their favourite Ghibli moments at any time through music.

Unfortunately, in this era, if you don’t have a digital presence you don’t exist. Thank you Studio Ghibli for releasing your music on Spotify.

Studio Ghibli is famous for its stubbornness to join the digital age, but more recently it seems they have come around to the idea. Alongside the soundtrack releases, the studio are also starting to release their films on streaming services such as Netflix and HBO Max.

The collection of albums make up the soundtracks to every one of their films except Grave of the Fireflies. This means music from favourites like Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, and many more. The collection also features 15 image albums which include songs inspired by specific characters and objects, sometimes even featuring the voice actors singing.
