Tinder needs your help this Valentine’s Day to support an Indigenous-led corporation who are working relentlessly to provide bushfire relief and support.

So what can you do to support the cause? Swipe right of course. Secure that dinner date this Friday 14th of February and you’ll be doing your part to contribute to the Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation.

This is how it works; pig out on up to $100 of food and drinks with your date at any of these participating venues and Tinder will match your bill and donate it to the Firesticks corporation. Simple as that. Tinder has titled the event ‘Date to Donate’ with the intention of raising as much as $50,000.

Firesticks is a network that was established in order to practice culturally informed means of fire and land management. It collectively aims to educate and train Indigenous and non-Indigenous people about ways to look after Country through “facilitating training, implementing on-ground works and conducting scientific monitoring to establish a greater understanding of the ecological impact of cultural burning practices.”

So fire up that Tinder app, or download it ASAP and get swiping for a good cause this V-Day.
