Sydney Film Festival preview their 2019 program with new trailer

The Sydney Film Festival is getting closer, and 2019 is promising to be one of its biggest yet. And with film lovers everywhere waiting anxiously for the full schedule drop, organisers have given us a little taste.

Running from the 5th-16th of June this year, the festival boasts over 250 films coming to iconic cinemas across Sydney. The 30-second trailer gives us a taste and a few hints at what we can expect for this year’s festival.

Sydney Film Festival 2019 has revealed a sneak peek at this year’s film lineup in a 30-second trailer that promises a bigger than ever set of films.

A list of 25 movies has already been revealed on the festival’s official website. Of course with the promise of more to come, this is looking to be a cracker of a year for film.

The standouts from this year’s lineup features plenty of local and international film prowess. The hotly anticipated sci-fi sexual thriller High Life is on its way down. The dark comedy from Peter Strickland In Fabric also features. As does Animals, a Sundance favourite from Aussie director Sophie Hyde, which will also be making its Australian debut.

You can find the full list of 25 films already announced on the Sydney Film Festival website. That’s also where you’ll find info about tickets and the full list when it’s dropped on May 8th.
