The New York Post has released a public apology following the recent hack of their mobile app on April 1st (April Fools Day).
Those who had the NY Post app downloaded on their smart devices (for whatever reason) with push notifications enabled (again, for whatever reason) received messages containing biblical verses, lyrics from Nivana’s 1991 classic Come As You Are, and pro Trump comments.
This was not a drill: a well-doing cyber bully hijacked the New York Post on April Fools Day, embarrassing the website in front of all its users.

Not entirely sure how this constitutes a April Fools Day ‘Gotcha’ Prank but I suppose posting anything on behalf of the shameless clickbait farm that is The New York Post is pretty cheeky.
