A new box set of Chet Baker’s music will feature vinyl remasters plus a stack of outtakes, photos, and recording notes.

In addition, the box set will include a collectible photo print as well as a 16-page photo booklet of Baker and his time spent at Riverside Records.

Extended outtakes, alternate tracks and album notes will give the die-hard fans a chance to get an inside scoop on Baker’s fast and precarious life. Originating from LA, Baker became known for his distinguished West Coast sound when he went Eastward to record at the prestigious jazz label Riverside Records in New York.

Playing alongside other forefathers of jazz including Charlie Parker, Gerry Mulligan and pianist Russ Freeman, Chet Baker’s soft, high-range vocals and punchy trumpet melodies have become timelessly distinctive throughout the jazz world. The compilation will also feature jazz heavyweights Bill Evans, Johnny Griffin and Kenny Burrell, to name a few of Baker’s collaborators.

The Legendary Riverside Albums is out October 11th. Pre-order your copy here.
