Brisbane indie/rock outfit The Reversals have released a new single, titled Coming Down With You.
The band worked alongside Steven Schram (San Sisco, Shihad) and Yanto Browning (The Jungle Giants, Art of Sleeping) to produce the single, which is the first track to be released off their debut EP, set to drop in early 2016.
The single came about after band member Nathanael Hubbard was sick and had to be quarantined for a number of weeks. He explained “I hadn’t been out of the house for a long time, so the lyrics came from a pretty lonely place. What struck me was how strong the desire for human connection was after being completely isolated for so long.”
“The song tells the story of two lost souls drawn towards each other through a process of letting go, unfolding and ultimately opening up.”
To launch the single, The Reversals are hitting up Adelaide’s Norwood Hotel on Friday September 25, and Melbourne’s Worker’s Club on Sunday September 27.
