The Rolling Stones are launching a new weekly concert series, ‘Extra Licks!’

Will The Rolling Stones ever stop working? It doesn’t seem likely. They even released their first original song in eight years just last month.

As a way to kill the time during isolation, the Stones have decided to start an archival series of extra material titled Extra Licks!

Sympathy For The Devil

The Rolling Stones’ new web series Extra Licks! will showcase extra material every Sunday from a number of classic Stones tours.

The new weekly series will feature extra concert material every Sunday for six weeks. It’ll include material that has been previously unreleased from one of their many live concert films. The first of which will be from 2016’s tour of Latin America titled Olé Olé Olé! Performances.

There will also reportedly be extra material from their record-breaking 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour. Extra material from one of the greatest and hardest working live bands in history? Count us in.

With the recent release of Living In a Ghost Town, Keith Richards hinted that the band had been working on new material for a new album. Richards said, “So, let’s cut a long story short. We cut this track well over a year ago in L.A. for part of a new album, an ongoing thing, and then shit hit the fan Mick and I decided this one really needed to go to work right now and so here you have it.”

Keep your eyes peeled for new Stones. In the meantime, enjoy a bunch of extra material from their archives. Have a look at the teaser below:
