You might have seen that infamous morning show host Ellen DeGeneres has been in the hot seat recently following multiple accusations of creating a toxic workplace environment.
Unfortunately, one of the top replacement candidates for the tv personality might be even worse.

TV host James Corden is rumoured to replace Ellen DeGeneres, but people aren’t thrilled about it. He’s meant to be a bit of an arsehole in real life too.
If you haven’t heard about the Ellen DeGeneres investigation taking place, don’t fear, we have the catch up right here for you. But if you’re in the know, prepare for some more drama. Network insiders seem to think Corden would be the perfect substitute, but the public clearly isn’t convinced. A TV insider told The Sun, “Replacing Ellen was always going to be a tough challenge, but he is a natural fit and easy transition”.
Sure, Corden may be able to replicate that fake gleeful personality Ellen executed so consistently, but that’s exactly the problem. It’s fake. This isn’t even a new revelation either. All the way back in 2017, The Tab published an article titled, Actually, James Corden has always been a bit of a dickhead.
If The Ellen Show workplace (under Ellen’s leadership) truly accommodated the racism and intimidation that the allegations state, then Corden is not the answer. The show needs a host who exercises some damn responsibility and integrity – not another actor who keeps it together only while the cameras are rolling. Twitter users have especially expressed concern over a James Corden replacement. Some are quite funny, others very serious. Take a look below.

That’s because it’s not a “line” it’s a circle with the same 6 people in it. https://t.co/5DHDNTSkEq

Because James Corden has been recommended to replace Ellen DeGeneres, I made a list of people who are more capable of taking that job. Enjoy. pic.twitter.com/sJHXHGXPYd

Since then, longtime wife of DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi has come out in support of the host, as well as other celebrities including Katy Perry:
1/2 I know I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience besides my own but I want to acknowledge that I have only ever had positive takeaways from my time with Ellen & on the @theellenshow. I think we all have witnessed the light & continual fight for equality that she has brought
