The Silencio’s new single Same But Different is a slice of epic alt-rock glory

Since forming back in 2014, Gold Coast based outfit The Silencio have carved out an incredibly unique space for themselves in the world of alternative rock. They make music that feels simultaneously cinematic and authentic; it’s rooted in rock hooks, but reaches into a variety of sounds.

With the release of their new single Same But Different, the band have established themselves as one of the Aussie music scene’s most exciting emerging acts. If you’re not already across this band, we strongly recommend you change that.

On their new single Same But Different, Gold Coast-based outfit The Silencio deliver an immersive and  cathartic slice of alt-rock brilliance.

Throughout the new track, The Silencio—made up of drummer Kurt Winter, guitarist/keyboardist Dylan Brann, bassist Jared Day, and vocalist/guitarist Jan Nicholas Blom—belt through an epic concoction of rock and electronic, crafting a sound uniquely their own.

With soaring vocal melodies and rich instrumental arrangements, Same But Different pulls in myriad sonic directions across its three-minute run-time. By its conclusion, you’ll have been roped in completely by the band’s epic brand of music.

Same But Different is the latest in a string of consistently great releases from The Silencio, and judging by the quality of everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more great tunes.
