Thom Yorke shares new Suspiria videos live from Electric Lady Studios Sessions

Thom Yorke has blessed us all with the “full Suspiria solo session,” recorded live at Electric Lady Studios in NYC.

A few of the tracks have been released before, but the playlist includes unseen footage of a solo piano rendition of King of Limbs opener Bloom. You can catch the videos below, which include Thom Yorke’s songs off the Suspiria soundtrack; Suspirium, Unmade, and Open Again.

The previously unseen footage of Thom Yorke performing the tracks at Electric Lady Studios solo has received plenty of positive attention from fans.

This is all in addition to the announcement Yorke made regarding his upcoming release of seven previously unheard tracks from his Suspiria sessions. Suspiria Limited Edition Unreleased Material vinyl-only release is currently sold out for preorder, but will get a full digital release “on all reputable (and disreputable) streaming services” on February 22nd, as the man himself tweeted recently.

This has all come around the same time that the Radiohead frontman revealed in an interview with Variety that he will not be attending Radiohead’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame due to previous commitments with the Paris Philharmonic.

He has however expressed hope that his work on the Suspiria soundtrack will win him an Oscar, for which Suspirium has been shortlisted in the “Best Original Song” category.
