In case you haven’t noticed, Australia is a bloody big country. This is something The High Learys are about to experience first hand. The Perth psych rockers have just released a brand new single called Not Gonna Lie and are gearing up to take it on the road for one epic tour. Cramming 13 shows into a month is no small feat, especially when they span an entire country. To gain a little insight into how one prepares for such an endeavour, we asked the High Learys what they’ll be packing in order to keep their sanity over the next four weeks.
The High Learys are about to embark on a huge tour, playing 13 shows in just four weeks. This is what they’ll be taking on the road in order to stay sane.
Audiofly Headphones
Not only great IEMs for on stage, but also great for mixing our new songs on the road.
DSLR Camera
For capturing all the ups and downs of the tour in pristine HD glory.
ELO Greatest Hits
Because Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra is all you need.
Decent Footwear
Because it’s your first point of contact with the Earth and it would rude not to.
Gatorade Bottle
For replenishing fluids after big nights on tour. The bottle can also be useful for other activities once it has served it’s initial purpose.
Aux Cable / iPod
When spending four weeks on the road, the Aux cable is your best friend.
Laptop
Mike’s MacBook with Ableton Live installed for tracking and mixing songs on the road.
Mint Shower Gel
Highly recommended shower sensations.
Star Pyjama Pants
Our keys player Mike wore these guys through our entire European Tour to keep him warm in harsh winters.

When you’re cramped in a van for hours on end and need to briefly escape reality.
