Commandeur recently visited the Live at Enmore studios. The brainchild of the polymath drummer and producer Tim Commandeur, the band was razor-sharp as they tore through Commandeur’s new single, Me and You.
Supported by a crack team of musicians including Lewis Clarke on keys, Luke G on bass and Gabriel Dunn upfront, Tim Commandeur’s pulsating beats were at the heart of this house banger.
When he’s not in the studio working on his own material, Tim Commandeur is on the road with the likes of PNAU and Tkay Maidza. As it turns out, life on the road was the inspiration behind the track:
“I wrote it with Ollie Gabriel – we both tour with PNAU. Touring can be quite gruelling, being away from your partner for so long“, said Commandeur. “We were just appreciating having that relationship with someone. Just being there for each other.”
