A few weeks ago, we reported that the cast of hit comedy series Community were set to reunite for a table read of a much-loved episode.
Well, the live-streamed virtual event took place on YouTube yesterday, and it’s now available to watch back.
Yesterday, the cast of Dan Harmon’s hit show Community reunited for a table read in an effort to raise funds for the COVID-19 relief. Check it out below.
The reunion saw the cast, including Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong, as well as creator Dan Harmon, joining to read the script from the popular season five episode, Cooperative Polygraphy. The episode initially aired in January 2014, and marked Glover’s second last episode before departing the show. This is the first time Glover has appeared in anything Community-related since.
The table read served as a COVID-19 fundraiser, with fans encouraged to donate to charities including World Central Kitchen and Frontline Foods, who are both distributing food to frontline workers and those in need, as well as supporting local restaurants.
