Post-punk rockers, Flight to Dubai recently landed in the Live at Enmore studio. The local four-piece cranked out a raucous version of their track, Cement.
Crunchy guitars, punk rock bass and pounding rhythms were the order of the day, topped with a manic vocal performance.
Local post-punk rock and rollers Flight to Dubai were recently welcomed to the Live at Enmore studio. They dished up a frantic version of their track, Cement.
Before the band hit record, they reflected on the track’s meaning – “The song itself is about being between a rock and a hard place.”
Further, the guys reminisced about… tomato sauce? – “Remember that sauce that Heinz put out in the mid-2000s, that’s how it feels.”
The point being, when times get tough, you just have to “squeeze outta the bastard.”
