Every week, we’ve been opening our doors to some of our favourite Aussie acts. It’s been one helluva time, and of course, this week was no different. We were stoked to welcome our favourite surf-garage outfit Goons Of Doom in for a live performance of their track Fly Snot.
Garbed in a set of incredible wigs and stylish Childe sunnies, the band launched into the iconic bush poem.
Byron Bay-based surf rock outfit Goons Of Doom swung by Enmore Audio for a live studio performance of their poem Fly Snot.
“The song we’re playing today… it’s a little poem called Fly Snot. It was written when I use to live in the swamp and I just wrote swamp water, and I needed to write poetry about the beautiful swamp water,” the band said.
“Nah, it’s actually the most negative poem I’ve ever written. Possibly. Real depressing.”
