Wolf Alice performs Mazzy Star classic ‘Fade Into You’ at Green Man Festival alongside Dove Ellis and Anna Calvi.
This past weekend saw the Green Man Festival in Wales boasting a stacked lineup. Acts such as Baxter Dury, Wednesday, Fcukers, Tricky and Sparks performed.
Wolf Alice, Dove Ellis and Anna Calvi were also amongst the unmissable names.
Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell, Dove Ellis and Anna Calvi, alongside Nilüfer Yanya, were recently featured on an original recording for the HELP (2) benefit album titled ‘Sunday Light’.
With three of the four artists on the track appearing on the Green Man lineup, Rowsell took the opportunity to invite Ellis and Calvi onto the stage during the Wolf Alice set.
The three performed a careful rendition of ‘Sunday Light’ before leading into the Mazzy Star classic ‘Fade Into You’.

Wolf Alice are currently touring off the back of their 2025 album The Clearing, which earned them two BRIT Awards, including the coveted Group of the Year award.
The success of the album saw the group release a compilation of B-sides. Discussing the release, frontwoman Ellie Rowsell said: “a few songs we made during ‘The Clearing’ that didn’t make it on the final record, but are ones we love very much – we’re happy to have found a home for them for you to hear”.
The newest release from the compilation, ‘Hit The Sky’, delivers a nostalgic folk-rock ballad that’s difficult to resist stomping your foot along to.
Rowsell claims: “‘Hit The Sky’ is a demo we made in Seven Sisters that we revamped a bit with James Gavin on fiddle and Julia Cumming on BVs a year or so later. It’s about encouraging someone you love to be themselves, because you can see how fabulous they are!”.
You can catch Wolf Alice live down under in December, where they will be performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
