A 25-year-old woman was jailed for racially abusing a bouncer

Sharna Walker has been sentenced to 14 weeks in jail in response to her shouting racial slurs and spitting at a bouncer in Birmingham.

During the incident, Walker drunkenly flew into a rage and started screaming at the doorman Tristan Price, 26, when he kicked her out of a bar in Birmingham.

Walker was caught on camera pushing the security guard and called him a “black c***’ and a ‘f***ing n*****”  in front of shocked onlookers. Walker then spat at him outside the Wetherspoon’s Figure of Eight bar.

The footage went viral on social media in May after the attack.

Yesterday, Walker pleaded guilty to racially aggravated common assault and criminal damage, because she also smashed the pub’s door.

District Judge John Bristow told her: “This was prolonged assault and you used a door against Mr Price shoulder. The incident has stayed with Mr Price and he has had to seek help.

“You deliberately spat at Mr Price this is disgusting. You were under the influence of alcohol.

“I have no doubt the footage caused serious distress throughout Birmingham.

“You are a risk to the public; the appropriate punishment is immediate custody. This conduct was serious – only immediate custody is justified.”
