Young Henrys announce Best Served Loud September, another free Melbourne gig

Young Henrys have been treating Victorians every month with their Best Served Loud gig series at a selection of Melbourne’s best venues.

Later this month on Friday 27th September, Young Henrys will return to Brunswick’s The Spotted Mallard with a stellar lineup. Did we already mention it was free?

September’s rendition of Best Served Loud will feature performances from Fraser A. Gorman, The Fillmore Brothers, plus Madeline Leman and the Desert Swells.

Fraser A. Gorman has harnessed his love for country, blues and folk to create a laid-back, soulful sound that has earned him critical acclaim.

With lush vocals and a sense of playful storytelling, Melbourne locals Madeline Leman and The Desert Swells will take you on a trip through ’60s surf rock, ’70s pop, and a uniquely energetic stage presence.

Last up The Fillmore Brothers will bring their catchy, raw guitar rock and distinctive vocals to the stage, harnessing a heroic dose of rock-pop energy.

These killer sounds will all be delivered at The Spotted Mallard, one of Melbourne’s loveliest live music venues. Situated up a flight of stairs, this hidden gem provides quality craft beer, cocktails, wines, food, and views of the beautiful Sydney Road.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Best Served Loud without a beer, best served frosty. Ice cold tins will be in constant supply, courtesy of Young Henrys themselves.

Be sure to come along to this free gig and support some killer local acts. It’s set to be an awesome night!
