10 artists turned these turntables into one-of-a-kind pieces in support of mental health

Secret 7″ is a UK-based initiative that takes seven tracks from musicians around the world and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl, with all proceeds from sales going to charity.

As a part of their annual event, which also saw seven hundred artists provide bespoke record sleeves for seven 7″ singles, they have just unveiled their latest project where ten artists have turned ten Rega Planar 1 turntables into works of art.

Secret 7″ has unveiled a new initiative where 10 artists turned 10 turntables into one-of-a-kind pieces of art in support of mental health charity, Mind.

The artists who have donated their skills include Gavin Turk, Jeremy Deller, Jake & Dinos Chapman, Es Devlin, Stuart Semple, James Joyce, Jean Jullien, Pete Fowler, Hsiao-Chi Tsai & Kimiya Yoshikawa and Francis Richardson.

All ten turntables will be live for online auction, 29 August until 9pm on 12 September, with all proceeds going to mental health charity, Mind.
