While many recognise him as MCA of Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch was a multi-talented artist with interests in many different areas.
Not only did he produce some of the most iconic records of our time, but he also founded the film production company Oscilloscope Laboratories in 2008, directed films and music videos, and founded Milarepa, a non-profit organisation that worked towards Tibetan independence.

Titled The House That Yauch Built, the new interactive experience will take you on a tour around the original Canal Street Oscilloscope Studio.
The new site is billed as a “digital journey that will allow fans to explore every nook and cranny of the historic space.”
“From the vintage Neve soundboard to O-Scope’s visual identities, MTV Moonmen, and other desiderata, viewers will be able to initiate video, photo, audio, and text-based hotspots that work to bridge the entire experience together.”
A bunch of unseen footage is included in the site, including Seth Rogen talking about the Beastie Boys’ influence and Yauch’s bandmate Mike D discussing returning to work in the aftermath of 9/11.
