Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, Jared Leto, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, and a stack of others have joined I’m Listening; a new campaign aimed at suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
For the campaign, the artists will be performing as part of a two-hour special on September 9th on Entercom and Radio.com.
A huge list of artists including Pearl Jam, Jared Leto, Mike Shinoda, and Alessia Cara have joined a new campaign aimed at suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
“In most parts of the world, suicide claims more lives than war, murder and natural disasters combined,” Shinoda said in a statement.
The special will launch Suicide Prevention week, which will also feature various other on-air and online promotional material.
Also partaking in the campaign will be Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth, and others.
