Quentin Tarantino has put together a massive playlist of all his favourite tracks from his own films for our listening pleasure.
Taking over Spotify’s Film and TV Favourites playlist, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director has compiled over three hours worth of songs from the soundtracks of his films.
Quentin Tarantino has gifted us with a huge hand-picked playlist of 65 of his favourite songs from the soundtracks of his films.
Last week, Tarantino unveiled the 31-track soundtrack for his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which features the likes of Neil Diamond, Deep Purple, and Simon and Garfunkel.
Now, he’s taken over Spotify’s Film and TV Favourites playlist, compiling over 3 hours of his favourite tracks from the soundtracks of his films. Some examples of the tracks include Nancy Sinatra‘s version of Bang Bang from Kill Bill: Volume 1, Dusty Springfield‘s Son of a Preacher from Pulp Fiction, and The White Stripes‘ Apple Blossom from The Hateful Eight.
In the Intro for the playlist, Tarantino says “we’ll play for you some of my favourite songs off of my soundtrack collection, so sit back, relax, and move into the soundscape of a Quentin Tarantino movie. You may never want to leave.”
