A restored version of The Beatles‘ A Day in the Life video has been released, which includes footage of the band working with a 40-person orchestra from January and February 1967.
The video release comes ahead of the new deluxe edition of the band’s 1 compilation, which will become available on November 6. Aside from including numerous tracks, it will also feature 50 restored videos and mini movies that were originally filmed for promotional use, but were never released.
In a statement on the re-working of the videos, Paul McCartney said “These videos and films are spectacular reminders of the era we lived in. They also rock!”
