1MX makes good on its promise with an 8-in-1 showcase of Asia’s biggest and brightest musical stars, from KZ Tandingan to BINI.
Dami Im and William Singe are among the eight acts set to perform in Sydney next month, as part of the lineup for the Asian fusion festival, 1MX.
The music event will see each artist take to the stage at The Hordern Pavillion on October 8, in what’s been billed as an 8-in-1 concert extravaganza.
Im will perform at 1MX fresh off the release of her latest EP, In Between, which arrived in July and has since climbed to the the ARIA Charts.
For his part, X-Factor second runner-up Singe comes armed with his 2023 single Have to Be. Joining the pair at 1MX is singer-songwriter and rapper KZ Tandingan, Philippines folk-pop band Ben&Ben, and pop sensation Keenan Te.
The lineup is finalised by R&b crooner Milky Day, as well as Maymay and girl group BINI. 1MX arrives on Australian shores following the success of its circuit throughout Europe and North America earlier this year.
The festival is described as a showcase of authentic Asian artists, who’ve each carved their own lane either as emerging or established musicians.
1MX has so far had outings in London at Silverworks Island, as well as the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, The Sydney iteration of the all-ages event will take place at The Hordern from 10am, with the main act slated for 3pm before festivities close at 10pm.
Alongside music, the 1MX promises an array of food options and fashion instalments throughout the festival site. Tickets to 2023’s 1MX 8-in-1 concert are available now, and accessible here.
