A star-studded Game Of Thrones album is on the way

The biggest show in the world just got a whole lot bigger. Columbia and HBO have announced an all-star album inspired by the treachery and debauchery of Game Of Thrones.

The record is set to drop April 26, which will be waist deep in all the action of Season 8.

Some of your favourite artists have revealed their inner nerd with the announcement an all-star Game Of Thrones inspired album.

Nothing screams medieval fantasy quite like mumble rap. Thus, we have a new Game Of Thrones inspired record.

For The Throne is dotted with huge names such as The National, A$AP Rocky, the late Lil Peep, Maren Morris, Joey Bada$$, Rosalía, Muse’s Mathew Bellamy, and Ty Dolla $ign, among others. For the Throne will also feature a new song from The Weeknd, SZA, and Travis Scott, as well as The Lumineers, and Mumford and Sons.

Back in 2012 The National recorded The Rains of Castamere which played during the iconic Season 3 episode that featured ‘The Red Wedding’. They did such a stellar job the first time round we can’t wait to see what other brooding, dark and quite frankly sadistic G.R.R. Martin scenes they cover this time. May Winter never end.
