With the NSW Government preparing to review the current lockout laws that have plagued Sydney for almost two years, Alison Wonderland has penned an open letter to Mike Baird about the current state of the city.
Yesterday, Premier Baird shared his stance on the lockout laws, saying “Over the coming months a detailed review into the effects of the lock-out laws will be undertaken. I await this work with interest. But as I’ve said before, it is going to take a lot for me to change my mind on a policy that is so clearly improving this city.”
Taking to Facebook to publicly share her opinion on the matter, Wonderland revealed the following letter:
Baird’s comments come after numerous Sydney venues have shut their doors after the lockout laws have reduced foot traffic throughout the city in bid to reduce alcohol related violence.
