Bon Iver is an American indie-folk band found in 2006 by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon. His debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, was recorded over a few months while Vernon was isolated in a cabin in northwestern Wisconsin.
In 2012 the band won Grammy's for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album for their eponymous sophomore album, Bon Iver. Vernon has since released two critically acclaimed albums via Jagjaguwar: 22, A Million (2016), I, I (2019).
