Joshua Tillman is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer who performs under the moniker Father John Misty.
Maintaining a steady solo output since 2004, Tillman joined Seattle folk rock band Fleet Foxes in 2008 as their drummer. After extensive touring, Tillman split from Fleet Floxes in 2012, and released his first album under Father John Misty entitled Fear Fun. The second album I Love You, Honeybear dropped via Sub Pop Records to widespread acclaim.
His 2017 album, Pure Comedy, and 2018 follow up, God's Favourite Customer, achieved widespread critical acclaim for their lyrical wit with the former winning a Grammy.
