Brisbane’s annual BIGSOUND conference has served as the pinnacle event for the Australian music industry in adopting and nurturing new generations of Aussie music heroes. Today, the legends announced a near-perfect list of industry professionals and speakers that will be attending and sprinkling their knowledge over lucky festival goers.
A stunning list of industry giants have been confirmed to hit BIGSOUND 2016 and are due to impart some serious pearls of wisdom for attendees
Among the list are Aussie rappers Briggs and Trials collectively known as A.B. Original. The pair have made a name for themselves in recent times carrying the torch for indigenous Australians through their powerful protest music, notably their recent single 2 Black 2 Strong. They will be sitting down with Triple J’s Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall as a part of the keynote speakers of BIGSOUND and are sure to impart some powerful and vital wisdom.
Other speakers will include Jaden Comerford of UNIFIED, who will be travelling from his HQ in New York to shed some light on his life as the 7th most important person in Australian music. Other Aussies will make an appearance but some of the international speakers will prove to be the biggest head turners.
Among international A&R representatives making the journey of discovery will be members of Universal, ATO and Vagrant Records among many, many others. Attendees are in for the experience of a lifetime immersed fully in the glorious light of Australia’s music industry and the giants who are set to take it to the next level.
