More than 1,000 items from musical legends will be up for sale at the Music Icons Auction in Beverly Hills, from 11-13 June.
Ever wanted to own a guitar played by Van Halen? How about Britney Spears’ handwritten letters to her high school boyfriend, or what about Prince’s 1994 Blue Cloud Electric Guitar?!
Well, they can all be yours… for as little as $25!!!
Amongst these beauties are other iconic memorabilia from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Kurt Cobain, Bob Dylan, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Cher, Madonna and much more. The occasion will take place at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, California.
For all of those who do not live in Beverly Hills, DO NOT FEAR. The auction will also be live, for your viewing pleasure.
The auction will feature unique, one-off pieces, including Alex Van Halen’s custom-designed Ludwig drum kit.
The kit was played in over 100 Van Halen shows, during their 1980 “Invasion Tour”. If that’s not exclusive enough for you, it is the first and only Van Halen drum kit to ever feature in the auction.
Additionally, the selling price will be going to the charity via the Frangioni Foundation and Mr Holland’s Opus. With a hefty $200,000 – $300,000 sale estimate, things could be looking up for these charities.
