Check out Courtney Barnett tearing it at an impromptu gig in the streets of Camden

If only we could all see Courtney Barnett playing in the streets for free. Just yesterday she set up her gear outside of Camden train station in London and played an impromptu gig for the filming of her new single Nobody Really Cares if You Don’t Go to the Party.

Courtney Barnett Nobody Really Cafres If You Don't Go To The Party

Barnett withheld the location until just before the show when she tweeted: “Nobody really cares if you don’t go to our secret party at 6pm this afternoon somewhere in London. Except me, I care.”‘

Fans then spotted her setting up her gear under a billboard with the words Nobody Really Cares if You Don’t Go to the Party on it right in the middle of Camden High Street. The word quickly spread.

After running through the track a few times with camera crews capturing the entire thing, Barnett thanked the fans and onlookers before launching in to a few tracks, Avant Gardener, Dead Fox and Pedestrian At Best, playing for at least another half an hour. What a legend.
