Germany-based techno, house, soul and hip-hop pioneer DJ Koze (Stefan Kozella) is returning Down Under to play the Sydney Opera House this December.
A lucky treat for Sydney-siders it seems be to Kozella’s only Australian show.
DJ Koze will be making his Sydney Opera House debut in what is expected to be an epic electronic expedition of dance music sublimity.
Kozella will be sure to produce a magical visual show of bass perfection, creating a performance that will have the audience transforming between space and time.
It all goes down at the Sydney Opera House on December 12, where Kozella will be bringing his audiovisual set that will feature tracks off his celebrated 2018 album Knock Knock, including a number of cuts such as Music on My Teeth, Plant Hase and Pick Up. Knock Knock was Kozella’s first full length LP since 2013, despite having complied an array of various mixtapes including his DJ-Kicks series.
Throughout his career, Kozella has had an invested interest in experimental dance music techniques, from breakbeat to ambience in an odyssey of music genres. In his live performances he builds sets on disco and house singles that blends his polished hip hop skills into an exciting mix. Koze’s melodic skill allows him to differentiate himself from his dance music peers in a dreamy tendency, making him one artist not to be missed this summer.
