Elon Musk never ceases to amaze the world with innovation and design. Well, almost never.
The new Cybertruck is nothing you ever have seen before, nothing you might have seen on the road. Maybe in a Ridley Scott movie.
Will Elon Musk be able to shake the embarrassment of proving his own theory wrong and still deliver a car we don’t really need? I certainly hope so!
Global company Tesla, famous for its sustainable cutting edge electric cars and self-landing rocket thrusters, has released a new electric SUV style car said to be “unbreakable” and “bulletproof”. I beg to differ.
In his large scale unveiling of the Cybertruck, Tesla founder Elon Musk put its “unbreakable” windows to the test. Musk – who is known for the ability to prove the world wrong by fixing unique problems – found himself in a delicate situation when an assistant for Musk threw a metal ball at the window of the unbreakable truck.
If you like watching obnoxiously rich people embarrassed in front of now millions of viewers as I do, take a look.
“But it didn’t go through” Musk mutters as he keeps his back to the sea of media filming the awkward sequence of events by breaking not just one, but two, windows.
“You know, I actually don’t know if a lot of people will buy this pickup truck or not, but I don’t care,” Musk said on the Recode Decode podcast last year. I disagree – I know nothing about the emerging automotive market but what I do know is that people love buying shit they don’t need, with money they don’t have, on things they never wanted. Rest easy Ol’ Musky, consumerism will prevail!
