In January this year, Eminem released his eleventh record, Music to Be Murdered By, out of nowhere. It went onto become his 10th consecutive No. 1 album.
Today, the rapper has released a new video for the seventh, Juice Wrld-featuring track, Godzilla, created as a tribute to the late musician. Check it out below.
Following on from the surprise release of Music to Be Murdered By, Eminem has dropped a video for Godzilla, in tribute to late rapper Juice Wrld.
Directed by Cole Bennett, the video sees Eminem getting drunk off “Godzilla” whisky and becoming embroiled in a series of bizarre encounters, including fighting off an armed robber with a missile launcher, vomiting up Lego, getting a blowjob in a slaughterhouse, and receiving a punch to the face from former professional boxer, Mike Tyson.
The video ends with a tribute to Juice Wrld:
“In loving memory of Jarad “Juice Wrld” Higgins. You will be remembered forever. You will be loved forever. You will be here forever. Thank you for changing the Wrld. 999 Forever.”
A rising star in the rap world, Juice Wrld passed away in December last year, aged 21. He was featured on Godzilla and can be heard singing on the choruses of the song.
